  1. Some of us "old timers" love analog as with analog at least you don't have a dropped call on a radio (cell phone) just tons of static! ha ha

A good example is analog is variable like static on old cell phones and digital is "on or off" either the phone is on or off and you loose the connection thus the 1's and 0's.

Digital is great if you have the power to run it...analog is great for jamming but can loose acute functions. Digital is nice but can be hard on processing....such as getting lots of squares on a Digital Cable box when the load exceeds the throughput capabilities.

  2. It may be a common notion to say analog as an obsoleted electronics fashion. It's not true.

The backbone of digital transmission in digital communications is analog. Digital signals alone can't be transmitted without the analog carrier.

DECT used 1.8G/1.9G, GSM is 900M/1.8G, Wifi is 2.4G. All analog carriers.

  3. Your wife, your mother, and the hot model you've always dreamed of!

  4. Analog is old fashioned electrical technology. Signals are  variable on a continuum. Think of a speedometer with a needle. Digital technology is based on a binary system. It uses two voltages only. One voltage means on, or 1, and the other means off, or 0. Think of the digital display on the front of your VCR.

Both are very real. Unless there is an inductor in the circuit. Then the current is imaginary. Sorry, disregard that. That's a very bad EE geek joke.

  5. Real life is both, analog as well as digital, at the same time; depending upon the way it interacts with its surroundings.

Exactly like the energy is both, wave as well as particle, at the same time; depending upon the way it interacts with its surroundings.
