  1. The Z06's body is also made from carbon fiber, at least parts of it are. Also, the chassis is aluminum where the regular Vette chassis is made from steel.

  2. The Z06 has a different bodykit, composite panel, and is not available in convertable or removeable top.

  3. The front fenders and rear quarters (and the wheels and tires) are wider on the Z06.  It is over 3" wider overall than a std. coupe or convertible.  The Z06 also has a different hood, a taller rear spoiler where the stop lamp is mounted, and pronounced rear brake ducts on the rear quarter panels.  The roof is also fixed on the Z06 unlike the removable top on the standard models.

  4. Most obvious is the addition of the intake vent at the front of the hood. The Z06 has different fenders to accommodate wider tires and ducts for brake cooling. The Z06 also has a few carbon fiber body panel. The new ZR1 has a larger chin splitter, full length rear spoiler, and exposed carbon fiber on the roof, rocker panels, and aforementioned splitter.

  5. If you notice there is an extra vent near the rear tires for cooling the brakes, and if you look real closely, the back of the car is wider than that of the C6. Also on cars that are going to be exported they have orange lights instead of red on the side.  Also the rims are diferent on a Z06.
