  1. Craigslist is free and people usually sell stuff locally so you meet up with someone in public

Ebay-it has fees and you usually mail your item.

  2. well on ebay people bid on your item and it sells for what the last bid is, and on craigslist you set a price and people pay that price. On ebay you get charged for selling an item where on craigslist you don't pay anything. craigslist is alot better in my opinion.

  3. Craigslist is free, ebay has a fee and commission

  4. Ebay is an auction site where you advertise and let bidders bid for a set number of days.  Most times you don't even have verbal contact between buyer and seller.

Craigslist is an advertising site. Usually you advertise locally and you do have contact eventually between buyer and seller and ideally the item is sold within 24 hours.  Free stuff goes much quicker.  I've left stuff in my back alley, advertised on Craigslist - first come first serve, no emails - and they were gone within the hour.

  5. well on eBay everyone has a feedback number (sort like a customer rating)

on Craigslist i don't think they have one' so there is  a high risk of gettingcscammedalso eBay does charges fee to sellers for posting their items

    I ddon'tthink craigslist does (charge)
