What is the difference between shall and would?

Shall means it WILL be done.  Would means it may get done under a circumstance.  I would do it but I don't have the money...I would do it if I had the time.  I shall go to the movies.

Even if someone said they would do it, there is still room for that person not to.

Shall: Indicates a mandatory requirement

Would: (used to express the future in past sentences): He said he would go tomorrow.

I would if I could.  I shall try if you would let me, but you won't so I shant.      

You shall obey me. (i.e. You MUST obey me)

You would obey me. (i.e.  I think you will obey me).

shall: indicates something which is going to happen 'I shqll go to the beach'

would: indicates something that you want to occur 'I would like to go to the beach'

WOULD is also not really sure.

Therefore, SHALL and WOULD are the same.
