What is the difference between smrt and sbs transit?

Hi there you are asking the right guy, for I was with SBS Transit a while back. Both are Singapore's sole 2 major transportation companies in rail and buses, but do take note both operate different areas and routes-SMRT operate bus routes mainly in the north and northwest areas and rail lines spanning from north-south to east-west whereas SBS Transit operate bus routes almost the whole country but rail line only run on the northeast area.
