  1. Snow is frozen water.

  2. simple, surfing is done on water. snowboarding is done on snow. snowboards are about 5 feet and surfboards can range from 5-6 feet for a short board all the way up to 9-10 feet for a long board. 7-8 feet boards are used for big wave riding. they are both extreme sports!!!

    :]

  3. well snowboards are shorter and snowboarding is or snow and surfing is on water

  4. Wow.

    You're pulling my leg, right?

  5. one has more hippie stoners than the other, one is more expensive than the other, one involves tourists in the summer and the other in winter, and one thing they have in common is that movies make them both look bad.

  6. Without the obvious answer of Water / Snow,

In snowboarding all turns/control is done on the back foot.

But when surfing all control is done with the front foot.

Also snow is alot harder than water.

  7. surfing is done in the water, not necessarily in tropical beaches unless you think thurso east, scotland( one of the greatest waves) is tropical!, surfers sport a board that is pointed at the top, unless they long board, and so can only be ridden one way, snowboarders on snow, have a thinner and less wide board, which is often concaved.

  8. surfing is in water and snowboarding is in snow for one thing, and surfing you steer with your back foot and snowboarding you steer with your front foot. You also aren't attatched to your board when you surf.

  9. surfing u ride a wave in the sea snowboarding u ride on snow eg:mountains -hills

  10. one is on white stuff called snow & the other is in water on waves. are you for real?

  11. Surfing is done on the water in tropical beaches and snowboarding is done in the snow in northern areas.  Best answer please;)

  14. Snowboarding is a long board shaped like a race track with the nose and tail sticking up in the air, you can go either way on it, in the middle is a pair of bindings that you strap into with boots. A surf board is pointed at both end with the nose sticking up in the air. No bindings, just a pad in the back of the board, also underneath is either one or three fins.

  15. surfing
