  1. When the SIXAXIS was first released, it had no rumble due to some copyright issues. Once Sony got the licensing and copyright issues sorted out, they added the vibration motors back into the controller and dubbed it that DualShock3. It is identical except that the DualShock has rumble support and the original SIXAXIS doesn't.

  2. the only difference is dualshock is a vibrating sixaxis it is more expensive because it is the official ps3 controller

  3. dualshock 3 is much heavier than the sixaxis and dual shock 3 vibrates and the dualshock is the same as sixaxis

  4. Dualshock- sixaxis motion control

                   - rumble

                   - higher price

Sixaxis = (Dualschock - rumble + lower price)

    it's maths. lol.

  5. Dualshock 3 features vibration for the games that support it, while SIXAXIS stays very still. Both have motion sensing capabilities.

  6. SIXAXIS is wireless and also contains a tilt sensor for ’six’ degrees of motion-sensing–hence the name SIXAXIS.

There is another big difference between the Dual Shock and the SIXAXIS–no rumble feature in the SIXAXIS.

So yeah, Dualshock3-->rumble + its heavier than sixaxis and its better..

sixaxis-->no rumble feature + weigh less than ds3 + cheaper

hence, you can tell easily the difference in weighing between the two ..

    hope i helped..

  7. Dualshock 3 and SIXAXIS both have motion sensing capability.  The only difference is that the Dualshock3 has the rumble feature, while the SIXAXIS doesn't. That's why the Dualshock3 is more expensive.
