What is the difference between the IPL and the ICL?

ipl stands for indian premire league and icl stands for indian cricket league,and the main difference in between in that is bcci approved ipl but icl league is against bcci.bcci supports ipl.In indian and pakistan board r not allowed player to play icl and if player play icl they cannot play  in international team even if he is sachin tendulkar.hope u understand now

The ICL is the rebel league which is not approved by the BCCI. Any player who joins the ICL, is not liable to play in any tournaments conducted by the BCCI, and cannot become a part of the  national team. IPL on the other hand, is BCCI's official league, and is strongly backed by the BCCI. It is officially approved, and the players joining IPL will get a huge financial support.
