I'm loading .338 lapua magnum, and they offer both of these dies sets for roughly the same price, and the description on the site says nothing.

  1. I asked this question of RCBS customer service a few years back.  The answer I got was, "The only difference is price due to the popularity of the die leading to mass production runs of the most popular dies and thus reducing the price to the consumer of the most popular dies. All the materials and workmanship is the same and all tolerances are held to the same high standards of the RCBS name for all groups of dies."

  2. Call RCBS...

"If further assistance is needed... we are ready to help! Feel free to click on the email link below to Ask RCBS your question or contact customer service toll free at 1-800-533-5000 (Monday - Thursday from 6:30am - 3:00pm Pacific Time"
