What is the difference between the SR GTIR and Avenir?

I'm want to swap a SR Turbo in a 2001 G20 and was wondering what is the difference between the GTIR and Avenir motors.I know how fast the GTIR is already and specs, but i just want more info about the difference with the Avenir and which is better between the two.Thanks

The biggest differences are the turbo and the intercoolers.  The GTi-R has different throttle body, a better turbo, but a top mounted factory intercooler.  The Avenir uses a smaller turbo, and a front or side mount intercooler.  The GTi-R had a bit more horsepower though.  I can't remember if the Avenir was AWD like the GTi-R, though.  

What you can do, is get the Avenir SR, get the GTi-R throttle body and turbo, then you'd have a pretty mean little G20.
