  1. Well the US has a president that waves the flag while burning the constitution so I wouldn't be so secure with my freedom if I were you. Bush has shown most of the signs of facism that are listed.

  2. Most developed nations recognize most if not all of the freedoms we have (the second amendment is the obvious exception).

  3. Freedom in the United States is very much protected because there is a freedom of choice unlike in the other countries like in the Middle East, you cannot join other religious groups except Islam and you are prohibited top travel thereat bringing with you a Bible.

  4. We pretend that rights and freedoms are important and the cornerstones of our government yet we toss them out with no good reason.

At least some of the other countries do not pretend rights and freedoms are important.

  5. i have lived abroad. canada and trust me we have way more say in our taxes and chance to speak about things in our govt we do nto like or want. we have laws that take forever to pass but they pass for us.

canada ex has a dominant relgion and spe but equal schools sytems. the catholic and public where do you think bush got his faith based ideas from?

we have had rights for minorities and women far longer than even canada has. thank god.

unitl 1949 in canada a women was still a mans property. not so since 1917 in the US.

we are far more advance in many ways thank god and our disabled families and people are givne a chance in schools early on when some nations ignore them.

  6. Hum... do you have any idea how much information is being requested in this question... literally books worth.

I'm going to answer this broadly... examine each country you would like to compare by it's type of government. For example, we have a Democratic Republic and Iran has an Islamic Republic.

From there, examine the difference between the types of govts and you can determine the level of freedoms or not.
