Question:

What is the difference between the different parks' Six Flags season passes?

I live near Six Flags: Great America (Chicago), but will be stopping at Six Flags: Kentucky Kingdom on vacation. If I buy a season pass I can use it at any of 15 parks. I'm wondering why a season pass is $90 if I choose SF:GA as my home park, but it is only $55 if I choose SF:KK as my home park. Is there a difference in the coupons included or something, or is it just a regional price difference. I'd appreciate any help from a SF employee, or someone who has bought the passes.

  1. The prices differ from park to park due to attractions at the park. Six Flags Great America has Hurricane Harbor included in the price of your season pass. Not saying Kentucky Kingdom isnt a nice park, but there is a 5 coaster difference between parks and a big difference in quality. Also the incident with Superman Tower of Power doesnt help the parks popularity.

Yes there is a difference of coupons between parks.(Coupon books are only good at the park of your season pass purchasing)

  2. the price largely vary upon the number of attractions at a park (rides), whether water park is included in the price and the promo factor.

Some parks also have family pass discounts and combo passes. See the link below
