What is the difference between the epson stylus dx8400 and dx8450 printer?

  1. I honestly can not answer this question. It looks like the DX8450 is a later released version of the DX8400, but I could be wrong. Yes, you can use the same ink cartridges in either printer. Epson printers are eventually all going to be using the same ink cartridges, wether it be the DuraBrite (4 ink) or the Claria (6 ink).
