  1. Previous to 2005, the F-250 had a Dana 50 front axle (4x4) whilst the F-350 had Dana 60. I think the F-250 had a semi-floater 10.25 rear axle and the F-350 had a full floater. But for the 2005-up models the front axles are the same and the only differences are that you have different options when it comes to payload packages. The F-350 can be had with stiffer springs. But the base suspensions are basically the same in each model.  The difference in MPG between them is slim to none. But if you are concerned with fuel economy you have selected the wrong vehicle.

  2. f-250=3/4 ton

    f-350= 1   ton

  3. weight.

The F350 is heavier so that it can carry and haul heavier loads.

Scroll down to the chart at the bottom of this link:

  4. The difference is the F-250 has a lower towing capacity and a lower payload (load in the box in the truck).  As to the F-350 has a higher towing and payload capacity.

Keep in mind, in the Ford Truck Line The Higher the Number the more capacity it can handle.

    Less Capacity- Ranger--F-150--F-250--F-350--F-450--F-55... Capacity.

    Hope I Helped.

    Good Luck.

  5. The difference is that the F250 is a 3/4 ton  and the 350 is a 1 ton truck. Also the main difference is that the the Ford F250 can haul and tow about 15,200 lbs, and the F350 can haul and tow about 17,400 lbs, so the difference between the Ford F250 and the F350 (not dually) is that the F350 can tow a little more than the F250

  6. mpg is the same on both. the real difference is the weight limit (max gvw). the 250 is a 3/4 ton truck while the 350 is a 1 ton

  7. Yes the F-250 is a 3/4Ton and the F-350 is a 1Ton but the ONLY physical difference between the two believe it or not is the size of the block between the rear axle and the leaf spring. All the spring ratings are the same on both,  EVERYTHING is the same except the block size.
