Well i'm about to order it, the xbox 360 classics version costs around £7 more than the normal "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" so what is the difference between them?

Thanks for any help, i don't have much spare cash.

  1. Typically "classic" versions of games are just more modernized renditions of that game.  I haven't seen a "classic" version of of Oblivion but I have seen a "Game of the Year" version.  The Game of the Year edition of The Elder Scrolls IV - Oblivion for the 360 includes the original game and also contains the expansion packs Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles.

  2. well the difference is that the x box classic old version does not have as many cool things that u can do on the new version of x box and the x box 360 is out but x box 720 is coming out look forward

  3. One is cheaper, and comes in a different box. The game is exactly the same.

  4. Oooh I LOVE Oblivion. The difference is really just a different box. Alot of times companies will change the box or slap some kind of special wording on it so that people will think that there is something more special about it than the one they already have.

  5. One version includes the expansion pack, and the other doesn't. I believe the GOTY edition comes with the expansion pack built inside the game.

  6. The Xbox Classics are the best selling 360 games which have had their prices cut after a few years. There are a few different versions of Oblivion. There's the regular one that you can find used for cheap; the Game of the Year one that includes Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine which is $60- 40 pounds in the UK I believe (sorry US keyboards don't have that symbols lol); and the Xbox 360 Classic which is just a cheap version of the original, too.
