  1. Core Duo is Intel's brand for one of their dual core (2 CPUs on one die) lines of CPUs.

Centrino is an Intel brand name for wireless networking enabled PCs (usually laptops) that includes an Intel CPU and an Intel wireless NIC.  Centrino is little more than advertising puffery since any brand of wireless NIC will perform as well as an Intel branded one.

  2. Think of a processor as a 2 lane highways which data transfers on, now think of a duo core as a 4 lane high way in which data can transfer making it much more efficient. And Centrino is just a name for a processor, just like Pentium, Phenom, etc.

Also Core Duo is just a name for Intel's line of duel core processors.
