  1. Catholic schools are strict, they have church classes, they usualy have uniforms, my school does. Catholic schools are not free aswell. Sometimes a pretty penny.

  2. The difference is is that Catholic schools teach

religion and public schools do not

  3. Prayer, religious education, strict behavior codes, and rigorous school work (most Catholic schools).

Students in a Catholic school pray three times a day. First thing in the morning to ask God to help them with their school work. Grace at lunch. Just before they go home to ask God to keep them safe on the way home.

The school day starts with one hour of Christian education including Bible studies and church doctrine. Students are taken to church for services on various occasions. Music class is a mix of secular children's songs and Christian hymns. Other classes, such as reading and history, will also mix secular material with materials presented from a Christian perspective.

The behavior codes are strict and they do not accept excuses or make exceptions. ADHD students have to follow the same rules to the same standard.

The currculum is rigorous in most Catholic schools. I've known people who went to Catholic school until 8th grade and then attended a public high school. They almost always end-up in the most advanced classes that the public school offers.

  4. Catholic schools are usually more strict/ordered (a good thing in my opinion), but due to their price, can have a less diverse student populaton (not so good).  Also, children have to attend catholic services and learn catholic dogma in the same place they learn more generally accepted facts like math and spelling.

  5. The public school system of today is down the drain unfortunately. It is rare to find a public school without violence, crime, pregnancies, and unchallenging curriculum. Catholic schools teach the Catholic religion, but do not force people of other faiths to convert. They do encourage others to partake in Catholic traditions and prayers, however, believing that we are all living under one common God. Catholic schools are usually more independent, whereas public schools are set up in systems with zoning and busing. Most Catholic schools have uniforms and rules that are enforced.

  6. In  a catholic school the kids are not exposed to violence and drugs and develop better morals and good habits for later on in life.

  7. the word public and cacholic is different.

  8. when you are in catholic you learn about religion, usually catholic isn't as harsh (as in words, actions, etc.)also
