2 days means two days to recieve item. One day means one day to recieve item.

Standard Shipping, i.e. Ground, is when your package (or whatnot) is transported through a truck from select cities.  It can take from 1 day (city to city in one state) to a little over a week (coast to coast).  2 day shipping and 1 day shipping are self-explanitory.  Your package will get there in 2 days with 2 day shipping, and in 1 day with 1 day shipping.  Pricewise, shipping costs the most to least for amount of time.  The shorter it takes to get your package, the more expensive it will be.  Therefore, Standard shipping is the cheapest and longest, whereas 1 day shipping (usually overnight) is the most expensive, yet the fastest.

1 day transit to most zip codes, generally refered to as Express.  Note that Ground which is 25% as much gets to most of zones 2-3 in 1 day.

2 day transit to most zip codes, generally refered to as Second Day service .  Same concept applies with the ground.

Well if you would specify who you are using... Fed Ex, USPS, UPS we could maybe give you better answers. But it also depends on where you are shipping too. Standard shipping is not really a method of shipping. If by standard you mean first class or parcel post, well it's going to take longer than 2 day or overnight shipping..

USPS... Priority Mail 2-3 days (depending on where you are sending) can take about 7 days going out of country to APO/FPO

Parcel 10-14 days (up to 3 months going to APO/FPO)

First Class 5-7 days (available on packages and envelopes up to 19oz I do believe)

Overnight - In the US, is overnight. APO/FPO about 3 days.

im pretty sure standard shipping means it takes a certain amount of time depending on where you are shipping it too so it could take as little as a day or many more.  2day shipping and 1 day shipping means that guaranteed it will be delivered in 1 day or 2 days
