  1. There are two ways that plants reproduce: sexual reproduction and vegetative reproduction.  sexual reproduction involves the combining of the sperm and the egg cells that result in a seed.  Vegetative reproduction is like cloning.  There are various ways that this can happen, but it's usually a part of the plant that can regrow to form a copy of the plant.  For example, potatoes can be cut and regrown to for a completely new copy of the original plant- that's vegetative reproduction- no s*x was involved!
