  1. the gauge or thickness.... smaller the gauge number the thicker the cable and also the better quality the cable...


  2. The only difference is the gauge or thickness of the wire inside the cable.

    Ther is little or no difference between expensive cables and inexpensive ones. If you have a good connection it works.

  3. Also, all HDMI cables are made to the HDMI spec. Therefore it doesn't matter which one you go with. The digital signal won't be affected by the cables (unlike analog). Therefore go with the cheapest.

  4. Get the least expensive cable.  Gauge doesn't matter unless you need a long length -especially when it comes to HDMI.

  5. Basically just the thickness of the wire.

    If you're not running the cable any more than 10 feet, just go with the cheaper thinner one.
