    ustedes is like speaking to a group of people.

    ex: 'ustedes estan locos'

          you guys are crazy

    Ustedes, 3rd plural subject pronoun (Ustedes son españoles), somehow formal (not always)

  3. Usted is singular - "you",speaking toone person

    Ustedes is plural - "you",speaking tomore than one person - "y'all", if you prefer
