What is the difference between undergraduate and graduate school?

Would a technical college be a graduate or undergraduate school?

Someone working on an associates or bachelors degree is an undergraduate.  Someone working on a masters or PhD is a graduate student.  A technical degree would fall under undergraduate if either.

Just to add to the other great post that a technical college may be more expensive (perhaps private) though not necessarily a higher quality.
