What is the difference between user id and sign on id?

when i try to send an email to a business, they always ask for a "user id". i put in my email address, and the business always says they don't have it registered, and won't take the email i am sending. they say what i put down is "not valid". this happens EVERY TIME! i don't even know which categories to select here for help, so i pick the closest category. can you contact me personally, not just checking boxes? am i a loser?

You probably need to make a user ID for the company. They probably have an area that says not a user click here to become one or make an ID....It usually goes something like that. If you don't have a user ID with the company and your using your email address then of course it's not going to let you sign in because you need a USER ID.
