  1. vapid means spiritless; flat; dull and insipid means destitute of taste; flat; dull; spiritless and hence both are same only


  2. vapid - lacking or having lost life, sharpness, or flavor

    insipid - without distinctive, interesting, or stimulating qualities

    They are synonymous.
