  1. Climate refers to average or typical weather conditions for a location, while weather is what is actually going on.  Robert Heinlein is quoted as saying "Climate is what we expect; weather is what we get."

  2. Weather is  the condition of the atmosphere over a short period of time. Wind, rain, snow, fog, frost and sunshine are all signs of the constant shifting of the lowest level of the atmosphere. This continuous change is what we call the weather. Thus weather can change from moment to moment. In other words, weather is how hot, cold or wet a place is at a particular time.

Climate is the average weather of an area over time which means, over a long period of time,a region's characteristic weather-- however changeable-- is called its climate. In other words, climate is the characteristic,day-to-day weather in a region based on many years(atleast 30 years) of recordings

Simply, climate is what you expect and weather is what you actually experience.

  3. weather is localised as small as your neighbourhood....

climate covers a very large area and culd be as large as a continent....

  4. Weather is specific and localized, where as climate covers a broader area of land.

An example of weather is snowfall, but an example of a climate is sub-tropical.
