Wildlife sanctuaries are places where rare creatures live and hunting are not allowed to preserve such creatures, while national park could contain rare and common creatures or animals, for people to enjoy watching, wildlife sanctuaries could be in the oceans and seas, but national parks are on land


  2. For the most part, National Parks are areas set aside to preserve scenic land (or historical buildings) for the public to enjoy for generations to come. There is no hunting, there is limited motorized recreation, but there are typically plenty of trails and camping opportunities. Wildlife Sanctuaries (or Wildlife Refuges) are more about the animals. Human access is heavily restricted, usually to a road or two, for sight-seeing purposes and the land typically lacks traditional scenic or developmental value.
