technically the 'correct' answer would be 48 hours..

But my thinking would be the thoughts shared to me many years ago from a wise man..with an abundance of stories and words of thought:

Yesterday is a cancelled check, tomorrow is a promissary note...so all we have right now is today's presence (presents)...use it wisely.

..yesterday is a faint memory while tomorrow is the chance for a new beginning.

The differnence is today -- which is packed in between with all the feelings that we possess bound into it.
