  1. software analyst is the one who tests and debugs the software while developer is the one who codes the software

    It depends upon experience  


  2. Analysts usually spend time with the business customers gathering requirements and translating those requirements into software designs.  Developers tend to focus on transforming those designs into physical applications (code etc....).
