  1. I'm tempted to say the "S".

One is the best that current technology can make it and the other is easier to handle, fatter torque curve and such. (The tuning of the engine is a major problem for sport bikes with a "little engine". It makes a lot of difference if it has a 650 vs a 600.

  2. The YZF-R6S is just an older version of the YZF-R6, the 2004 model to be specific - before it got upside down forks.

  3. not to sure dude but has it got a differant shock on it?? then again its probs just the colour and an extra £1500.

  4. If your talking about the new R6 models ('08 & '09), then the differences are like night and day.  Different engine, different engine control unit, different front fork, different styling.  The R6 "S" is the toned down version of the R6.  The only thing the two models share are the tire size and ram air.  If you want to see for yourself, go to yamaha.com and compare the two.
