  1. Yeah, K-12 is kindergarten through 12th grade. K-8 is kindergarten through 8th grade.


  2. There's really not a difference contract wise.  Your certificate is usually for particular grades.  Your contract will match your certificate.  The only difference would be if your degree actually qualifies you to work K-12.  Then, you would have more flexibility if you signed a contract with a K-12 district.
