  1. Domestic abuse is where a spouse is abused.

  2. No.

Child abuse is any physical, emotional or sexual abuse done upon someone who is considered a minor at the hands of their parents, care giver or anyone else in the home or a place where the child resides or is cared for. A child is considered a minor who is under the age of 18.

Domestic violence abuse is considered abuse that is usually physical and severe between adults that either reside together or that have contact with one another in a neighborhood or other setting.

They are not treated the same because domestic violence is basically abuse for those considered of legal age (18 and older) while child abuse is for those considered to still be minors.  I'm not sure why one carries assualt and battery charges and the other doesn't.  There both dispicable.

  3. domestic abuse is when the spouse is getting abused  child abuse is when the child gets abused

  4. Domestic abuse is an adult abusing and adult.  Child abuse is an adult abusing a child.  I don't know about them being treated differently.  I suppose that they can legally remove a child from a dangerous situation, but if an adult isn't willing to press charges or leave the abuser then they can't really do anything about it.

  5. domestic is where wife /husband (normally wife)  gets abused

child (well thats when a child is abused)

  6. child abuse= stranger or not someone living with child

domestic=someone who lives with the child
