What is the difference in duties between a swing manager and a shift manager at mcdonalds?

A shift manager gets to wear one of the paper hats! And also gets a bigger badge!

And on occasion is allowed to don a Ronald McDonald clown outfit and dance around the restaurant!

No the swing is higher ranking. The major difference between shift and swing is their availability. Shift manager can have a set schedule, where a swing has to have open availability.  For example a shift may only work days, where a swing may work days one day, then open, then  do an overnight ect.There are a few other little difference between a shift and a swing.

1.  Swing manager is in charge of one area of the store.

2.  Shift manager is in charge of the entire shift.
