What is the difference in hours and minutes between ET and IST ?

ET is eastern time in US. IST is Indian Standard Time.  It is difficult to findout the difference in time between two local times, so one has to first convert the time to GMT and see the difference between GMT and the local time of a particular region.  Every country/region's time will be + or - GMT.  Indian time is GMT +5.30 hours.

if i take your ET as international mid-day time then

there is 5hours and 30 minute`s different between greenwhich time(which is passing from England) and India (which is passing from near to Alhabad),to which you called indian standard tine(IST).As India is in east ,so it`s time is 5.30hours ahed than greenwhich.

Hi dude the different between hours n mints is 60 mints is equal to 1 hours ,,, 60 sec is equal to 1 mint....and about ET n IST is

ET stands for eastern time

IST stands for indian standart time .... as far as i know
