My son says organic milk tastes drier. He says his mouth feels dry and he's still thirsty after drinking it. I honestly didn't notice a difference.

It really depends on what milk you buy and what you are used to.

Milk gets it's flavour from the fats it contains. The milk from different cows (breeds) tastes different. If you buy your milk from the farm, the it's flavour will be more or less unique to that farm. If you buy cheap supermarket milk that has come from a vast range of farms and breeds of cattle you will find that your milk tastes rather bland. Some cattle produce good quality, good tasting milk in small quantities, others produce large quanities of poorer tasting milk.

Shop around, find a milk that you like the taste of. You may find that you are paying a premium for it. The choice is yours.

I have done blind tastings of milk, always I have chosen an organic semi as the best flavour.

LOTS. in the organic milk you actually taste the milk, but some people don't like that so they prefer the non organic which is full of chemicals.

I just switched over to organic milk about 2 months ago and as far as I can tell there is no difference in taste. I have used it in chai, coffee, hot cocoa, milkshakes and cereal and no complaints yet.

I do like the fact that organic milk has a longer shelf life (about 3 times that of reg milk). Woohooo I save $$ by not throwing away spoiled milk.

I bought a carton yst that expires on Sept 16, 2008..that is cool.

there isn't much difference except organic is maybe a little sweeter b/c it can't stay on the shelf as long. The taste of milk also depends a lot on the kind of cow it comes from and on what the cow eats so grain or hay fed cows milk tastes better than milk from cows that are fed artificial ingredients and ground up parts of other animals.  ever tasted real farm fresh milk like from a small farm? it tastes like that.

If your gunna try and be healthy don't drink dairy milk at all.

Try rice dream milk or almond breeze. They taste just the same and are actually healthy.

I really couldnt tell but organic is real milk straight from the cows that wasnt pumped with hormones. Its good for girls with over protected fathers cause organic keeps the girl from starting her period early. Mine started at the age of 18 and they made me eat organic everything.
