    Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Applied Science

    Doctor of Medicine, Juris Doctor, Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Education, Doctor of Psychology.

    MD and JD are first professional degrees - they are not the same as the other doctorates.

    The MBA is a terminal degree, it's not the same as an MA or MS.  The MFA is also a terminal degree.

    There are also many other degrees out there.  Hundreds of them.  There's the ASN, BM, BEd, MFA, MAcct, MPH, DVM, DDS, etc... so many that you could write a book trying to explain them all.
