What is the difference of Tris NaCl and phosphate buffered saline?

  1. I don't really know much about either of them (I study medical science not medicine or nursing) but I can tell you what I do know. NaCl is just salt and probably is only present to provide hydration without effecting the osmolaric balance. Phosphate is more involved in metabolic pathways and other cell mechanisms.
