Question:

What is the difference of an Epiphone Les Paul Standard and an Epiphone Les Paul Studio?

i am getting a new guitar and my was on ebay bidding for a Epiphone Les Paul Standard and then he found a Epiphone Les Paul Studio chipper then the Epiphone Les Paul Standard but he dosent know the difference between them!!

So can you please help me by telling me the difference between the to guitars!!!!

  1. The studio is basically a cheaper or step down version of the standard.  The studio has open coils while the standard has closed cap coils.  The standard also has trapezoid inlays.  But the studio only has dot inlays.  The electronics in studio is far from equal to the electronics in the standard.

    Go for the standard if money isn't an issue.
