between tvs advertised as integrated HDTV and an HDTV

  1. Hmm could be that integrated means that it has everything built in to the unit needed to receive HDTV. If it is just HDTV then it could mean that it is Capable of showing HDTV but you might need outside other equipment to receive it. But check with your salesperson.


  2. Integrated HDTV means the TV has uses ANSI which accepts any HDTV signal wether it be a box or HDTV antenna.  Regular HDTV's require a direct HD source such as an HD receiver (DirecTv, Dish, HD Cable Company).
