What is the difference ?

between dvd-r and dvd+r

I have a multi recordable drive

and it also says RW DVD-R DL\

so can anybody tell me which type of disc are best to use

They are just different methods of recording to a disc, but you have to make sure that you have the right (+/-) disc as well as recorder.

DL just means Dual Layer - so it can record on both layers of the DVD...

RW DVD-R DL will give you the most capacity and you'll be able to re-use the discs...
