What is the difference (taste, texture, price etc) between natural yogurt and fromage frais?

Is fromage frais thicker and is it suitable for putting on breakfast cereal?

fromage means cheese in french, so it's made with cheese.

Hi fromage frias is basically cheese so it taste like a bit like cheese and just really smooth, if you have had cheese cake thats what fromage frias taste like, yougurt is similar but not as thick and is smoother and taste well like youghurt.

I think fromage frais contains more calcium and is lovely in flavours, and you can put either of the 2 on cereal but I prefer a plain yoghurt like the bio pot ones on cereal rather than flavoured and I dont think I would like plain fromage frais on my cereal lol
