  1. Nuclear works, solar doesn't .

    Its that simple.

  2. First of all the source of both energies are nuclear reactions.

    1.  The source of traditional nuclear energy (produced in nuclear plants) is nuclear fission.  It occurs when a neutron splits the nucleus of a large atom, such as U 235 , into two smaller nuclei, releasing energy. This method usually involves isotopes of uranium (uranium-235, uranium-233) or plutonium-239.

    2. On the other hand the source of solar energy is nuclear fusion. Nuclear fusion is the process by which the nuclei of atoms fuse together, thereby creating new, larger atoms. Two atoms of hydrogen are combined to create helium-4 and energy in several steps.

  3. When in use Solar produces no hazardous waste nore does it create any while Nuclear is a hazard from start to finish.
