  1. a tour racquet is usually for the professional people who want more control and can generate their own energy.

Standard racquets are generally for beginners and people who want more power.

  2. standard racquet's are just to play with or practice with.

tour racquet's are when u want to play competitively,  tour are a lot better than standard racquet's

  3. nothing is special. tour racquets and game improvements racquets use the same technology (material, structure, vibration reduction, etc). they differs exactly in aspects you excludes :)

tour racquets are usually smaller in headsize. most of them are mid-sized (less than about 95 sq in) and mid-plus (less than about 105 sq in). why? smaller headsize gives better control. pros really watch the ball upon impact to ensure the ball is hit at the center of the stringbed. they don't prefer larger frame to reduce possibilities of hitting off-center and losing control.

tour racquets are usually heavier. most of them weigh more than 11 oz. why? heavier frame also gives better control (just like heavier sword). pro players bring their own power, so they need racquet that can help them control the ball.

tour racquets are usually head-light or even-balanced while game improvement racquets are usually head-heavy. why? because the swingweight (inertia) is already heavy. furthermore, head-light racquets are more maneuverable for netplays.

    hope it helps :)

  4. Basically, the big difference is the target market. Standard racquets often have a very large string face and are very light weight: both things that come in handy for beginners or older players who aren't particularly accurate or struggle to produce power with a heavier racquet. On the other hand, pros and most other advanced players are more precise hitters and have no trouble generating pace with a heavier racquet. Not to mention, the added weight and smaller string-face offer much more feel and stability. It also should be noted that both the mens and womens pro tours ban the use of racquets under a certain weight. Hope that helps.
