I would go on a newer ship. More people more fun. There would be more ammenities and everything so you could enjoy your cruise more. You could also get some great deals on the inagural cruise. I wouldnt get an inside cabin, so I would go with an oceanview at least. Towards the middle if you get sea sick, and towards the bottom for that as well. If this is your first time cruise I would deffinately recommned getting a cabin towards the bottom in the middle, that is an oceanview, so you can still see the view when your inside your room, and you wont feel the rock of the ship as much. It also depends on where you go. Bermuda is one of the roughest. The caribbean would probably be fun for 18 year old girls as you can wear your swimsuits and tank tops and shorts all day long and you can wear flowly sundresses and everything else you can in nice weather including flip flops and enjoy the weather. Also you could probably find alot of people your own age and scope out on the really good looking guys. They like the nice weather too you know. So I think that you should look for something in your budget on a newer ship. Have fun.

Are the 18 year old girls travelling by themselves?  It is not going to happen.  Even Carnival requires at least one 21 year old+ in the cabin.

Guests are required to be 21 years old (on embarkation day) to travel. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied in the same stateroom by a parent or guardian 25 or older.

I know that you can go on Regent cruises at 18 but it is like $350/day/person.
