What is the differents between a YZF-R6 and a YZF-R6S?

I looking in to buying my first bike. I want a Yamaha R6 but when i was looking on the Yamaha site and they have a R6 and a R6s.What is the differents between them?

I think the R6S in the latest sports bike. You will only be able to ride it if you have passed your test, otherwise you will be restricted to 125cc and under.

THE YZF R6 IS THE LATEST MODEL

THE R6 S  IS THE PREVIOUS 2005 MODEL WHICH IS STILL FOR SALE NEW AT DISCOUNTED PRICES.

yamaha had a high number of surplus bikes from the 2005 range and have simply rebranded them with the S.
