  1. I prefer Herradura personally, but generally Reposado = Reserved, and Anejo = Aged .. kinda like how with scotch whisky you have 12 years, 18 years ..

  2. The Anejo (Aged), having been casked for 1 year, carries a bigger wood flavour than the Reposado (Rested), which is casked for a few months. Personally I prefer the 'freshness' of the Reposado, though I do enjoy the Anejo as well. If you're going to be mixing your Patron (shaking up some tasty margaritas perhaps) I'd go ahead and grab a bottle of the Silver and call it a day. Blanco tequilas are uncasked and have a little more of a 'bite' to them. I find this lends itself well to mixing, and you'll also save yourself a few dollars. The subtle differences between the Reposado and the Anejo will be lost, when not consumed 'neat'.

  3. They are both aged in white oak barrels, Resposado is aged for 6 months while anejo is a blended with different tequillas and aged for 12 months, like wine, tequilla gets better with age, a more distinct and smooth flavor.  Making the anejo nicer and more expensive. : )
