What is the diffrence b/w bad breath, BO and other smells?

So I was abuot to slow dance with a friend at this party, jsut a dance...we had all been drinking and then it kinda smelled like either a f**t or a whiff of bad breath. I dont know. How can u tell? Oh yeah and when we hugged, her armpits smelled. How can I tell her in the future? thanks.

With all seriousness, I'd decline the slow dance / fast dance / whatever dance with anybody with bad breath.
