  1. Do you mean passiveness and aggressiveness?

    If not, then...

Passion is when you feel strongly about something. Willing to go all lengths to get that point across. i.e- working many extra hours just to be able to afford something you desire.

Aggressiveness is when you go many lengths, despite hurting others. i.e- screaming absurdities at someone is aggressive.

  2. Positive and negative motivations.

  3. aggressiveness implies a disposition to dominate often in disregard of others' rights or in determined and energetic pursuit of ones ends.

Passion means expressing intense feeling, affected by intense feelings, enthusiastic, ardent, easily aroused ro anger.

there are similarities but there's a fine line separating them.

  4. Passion seems to relate to emotions like Love or hate.  So I guess you could say Passion is a mental state, whereas Aggressive means: characterized by or tending toward unprovoked offensives, attacks, invasions, or the like; militantly forward or menacing: aggressive acts against a neighboring country.  Aggressive is more of an explanation of your actions.  Your passion can drive you to be aggressive toward your goal or foe.
