  1. your kidding right

  2. seriously, for one you are in a kayak and the other one you are in a raft going over rapid waters!!

please tell me you live in the middle of a desert somewhere!!!

  3. Rafting or whitewater rafting is a recreational activity utilizing a raft to navigate a river or other bodies of water.   Modern rafts are made very durable, multi-layered rubberized or vinyl fabrics with several independent air chambers.  Rafts can either be rowed or paddled.

Kayaking is the use of a kayak for moving across water. A kayak normally has a closed cockpit which a paddler sits within and is propelled with a two bladed paddle.

  4. rafting allows you to go on big water immeditately. all you need to do is go to an activity centre with a couple of friends, hire a guide and your off.

kayaking is much different. it takes months to get onto decent rivers. it require lots of training, expensive equipment ( if your not in a club) and HUGE BALLS. i've only been paddling since september and i'm only starting to paddle grade 4 rivers. they're the kind of ones you could just hop on in a raft.
