What is the diffrence between Nerds and Geeks?

Also could you describe each what, they mean?

Your spelling ability needs assistance as well.  But, to me nerds and geeks are valuable constituents of our population. Being identified as either can be an asset or a detriment, depending on the group identifying you.  My suggestion is to just be who you are.  Glasses are not an independent variable when defining a personality. Fifty percent of our population needs optical correction, and just about that many utilize dental correction.(braces). So please, quit making excuses for yourself.  You don't have to wear pants that threaten to fall off your hips, or wear a baseball cap in a certain position, or wear name brand sneaker, but just be sensitive, continue to focus on your academics, and find other "nerds or geeks" for your social group.  K?

nerd:

3.A foolish, inept, or unattractive person.

4.A person who is single-minded or accomplished in scientific or technical pursuits but is felt to be socially inept.

A geek is like Bill Gates.  into things which are not socialize events, working alone on a computer for example.  a nerd has an interest in say Pokemon, where he/she has a small group (usually).  Nerds are often a little compulsive over their subject to say the least.

Nerds are ostracised from the social groups because of their high intelligence and lack of social skills,while Geek are similar yet lack main intelligence along with social skills,never fit in with the standards of collectivism,also a Geek used to be an old side-show act that would bite the heads off chickens

so if you really want to widdle on someones bonfire then call them a geek...

other than that, you can always refer to yourself as a nerd =)
