What is the diffrence between a black and white man?

Seriously, is there really any way people possibly discriminate others other than skin color?

Believe it or not there are biological differences, good examples are blacks tend to have wider noses and whites have thinner noses due to the different environments they grew up in.  There is also the different genetic makeup where transferring organs between a white and a black is more likely to lead to a failure than a transfer within ones own race. There is so many slight biological differences. There are several science books on this subject. Intelligence, on the other hand, would be debatable because their is really no good way to measure it.

If I'm not mistaken there are small physical differences or at least I was told so in one of my college classes. But not enough that it makes a difference to how we should look at eachother. For some reason your just always going to have white people who don't like any black people, and black people who will never like any white people. Sad but the way it'll probably be.

other than the amount of melanin in the skin, the major factor in racism is ignorance. Ignorance leads to fear, fear leads to hate.... simply as that.

People of different cultures will always clash until their cultures are at least learned, if not understood.

I'm sitting here thinking, and this is one of the best questions I had to answer.  I'm stuck because It all returns back to the fact that said person was either BLACK or WHITE. Rather trying to get a loan, credit, job position, or whatever, it still boils down to rather he/she's black or white.

Where I live there is a HUGE difference between black and white men. A good majority of black people around here are walking stereotypes and they are very ignorant about it. They are openly racist towards white people but if one thing bad is said about their race, then **** hits the fan. Now thats not just men thats both sexes. White men are just better lovers.

cultural differences are a great way to discriminate.

A great example is hasidic jews. they wear black, grow beards, wear yarmulkes and have a curly piece of hair hanging down from their heads, yet complain that they are treated "differently".

Lack of assimilation is another reason.

i think we will always have racism,unfortunately.people seem to feel threatened by differences.however maybe things are changing ,eg oprah winfrey.condoleezza rice.barak obama,all doing exceedingly well.(can u immagine this happening in the 50's?)

i noticed in the dog park recently that all the dogs were friendly and curious about each other,all sizes from st bernards to jack russels,all colours fom black to white to brown and all combinations  of sizes and colours,NO discrimination there,

maybe we could learn something from our dogs!!

i agree, racism does suck. The only difference is the skin color, tone, or shade. Other than that we are all still human.
